Code of Conduct

  • Players will play by the rules and in the spirit of the game
  • Players will show respect to each other, opponents, spectators and umpires
  • Never argue with an official, or an umpire and accept their decisions as being fair and called to the best of their ability.
  • Your coach or umpires will not tolerate verbal abuse of, or deliberate physical interference, with opponents
  • No drugs of any kind will be tolerated unless prescribed by a licensed physician
  • The use of any form of tobacco or alcohol on the field, in the dugouts, bullpens is banned
  • I agree to attend all training sessions and games as required. 48 hours notice will be provided to my coach for any training session or game that I cannot attend. I agree that this may result in being placed on the bench.
  • I will arrive to all games and training on time.
  • During training and games I agree to play at the best of my abilities at all times
  • I agree to respect the equipment provided for my use. I agree to reimburse the club for any damages encountered due to my behaviour.
  • I agree to respect the facilities that I train and play on at all times.
  • I agree to assist in the upkeep of the facilities by raking/dragging base paths, batting boxes and pitchers mound to minimise the maintenance required by the ground staff after training and games
  • I agree to assist in the canteen when required
  • All registration fees will be paid by round 4. If I cannot pay fees in full by this time, I will contact the treasurer and arrange for a payment plan. If I fail to adhere to the agreed plan, I will not be available for games until I have caught up to the payment schedule
  • I agree to wear the provided current training shirts showcasing our sponsors on training nights as well as before games.
  • I agree to make every effort required to attend any and all social team gatherings
  • I agree to set-up or pack-up the field as required during training or games

 

Breaches of the above agreement can result in the following actions

  • Warning for minor offences
  • Suspension for a period determined by the coaching staff, judiciary or Executive Committee
  • Deregistration from the club for serious offences
